Overview
The park of Rwenzori is Africa’s third-highest peak. The park provides stunning views of the glacier and snow-capped peak, V-shaped valleys, fast-flowing rivers with magnificent waterfalls. Blue lakes are spectacular and amazing.Tree climbing lions are the superstars, being some of the only lions to climb trees. As a place of rest only, Uganda’s Rwenzori National Park share this distinction, the groundwater-fed by underground springs. One can see rock hyrax porcupines and a wide variety of birds including Verreaux eagle, augur buzzard and flamingoes.
