Terms and Payment Methods

Kashipa Adventures booking / cancellation conditions are determined by the fact that once a hotel, Safari, Lodge/ camps, local domestic airlines or services are booked on your behalf, we shall incur a cancellation Fee if we are required to cancel the booking. We try to keep such cancellation charges to a minimum and they apply as follows calculated as a percentage of the total price:

• Cancellation 60 days prior to commencement of the safari: 10% cancellation charges.
• Cancellation 45 days prior to commencement of the safari: 30% cancellation charges
• Cancellation 30 days prior to commencement of the safari: 40% cancellation charges
• Cancellation 20 days prior to commencement of the safari 60% cancellation charges
• Cancellation 14 days or less before commencement of safari – Zero refund, 100% cancellation
• Charges apply.

If your credit card transaction fails, you may need to contact your bank to authorize payments to Kenya. Often times, banks may put a caveat to protect their customers from fraudulent transactions in foreign countries. Credit card payment is the fastest and easiest method of making payments. It is also a secure platform as all your details are confidential and should any challenges occur, the funds can be send back to the card. This mode of payment has a 3.5% card surcharge that has to be added on top of the original amount. The 3.5% charge does not come to kashipa adventures it is a bank surcharge for credit card transactions.
